3. For Construction: We normally quote as per the house plan. We also conduct a site visit too to determine the
suitability of the soil.

4. Normally we compute the No. Of Blocks as per your house plan.

Makiga ISSB experts train you on soil testing and mixing ratios.

The cement to soil ratio varies according to the soil type and can be determined by testing the soil for shrinkage. This can be done quickly by using a special shrinkage box supplied with the soil block press machine.
You can use all kinds of soil except the black cotton soil.
Murram soil is recommended for the making of cement-stabilized blocks. This type of soil is found at sub-levels. Therefore, one must first remove the top soil to reach it.
Once the cement-soil ratio is determined by using the shrinkage Test, mixing can start. This ratio is measured by the number of wheel-barrows against one bag of cement.
